Drone Support

So after a three month hiatus after the birth of my second child, I am back with the “Sonic Support Drone” and in so the completion of the Drone Series. I have really enjoyed this set of customs and each has evolved one step more than the lost with the Sonic Support Drone being the most tailored piece yet. Check out all the pics after the hop and let me know what you think.

They are up for Sale HERE

Bite Me

Introducing my new Print Series entitled “Bite Me”. These Prints like most of my work are a combination of hand created pieces and digital manipulation.

In order to have a perfect reproduction, I have run the prints on a fine art Giclee printer on the best available watercolour papers. This way we were able to recreate every subtle detail in the watercolour paint as well as the bright, popping colours.

The Prints are available for purchase over at my store. If you are outside South Africa and would like to order prints please let me know via email and we can sort it out. Cheers and I hope you dig, The Given!

You can see the other two in the series after the hop:

Part 2

Check out the follow up piece in my new series, entitled “Ground Support Drone #04″. I am loving this new exploration, It’s so different for me, but I am really enjoying it. This piece has evolved a bit in that the model kit was completely hacked apart. Very little is stock on the piece, for example the chest motor housing is made of about 15 different pieces that were cut and hacked together. Let me know what you think…?

A New Direction

So I had this idea floating in my head for several months, with bits and pieces of it lying around my studio… Well finally I can show off “Test Device #02″. A new direction from my usual graf influence, but one I am certainly glad I pursued and this will be the first in a series, so more to come. Let me know what you think.

Caps Lock?

So this Friday is my last day at work for a little under a month, Rad I know! In my time off I have a few things I need to get to, one of which is the massive stack of blank caps I have lying around. I will be painting them all up they will be up for sale in the new year so stay pealed. Here is the first done and dusted.

The Walking Dead

I have been wanting to get to this for a long, LONG time. A friend gave me a Simpsons blindboxed figure, and I have to be honest “Carl” is probably one of the most boring vinyl figures I have ever seen. But I knew he was destined for greater things and this week I finally got around to it… Zombiefied Carl, complete with fully sculpted brain and ribs. Let me know what you think!

Today saw the launch of my mini webstore. The site will be used to sell any non-show custom as well as any resin or production figures I make. Check it out and let me know what you think the occasion also marks the launch of my new “Solid Gold” Custom Keg O’ Boom, available here.

New Custom Munny from The Given

Over the last few weeks I have been working through some flu to bring out my latest custom, it’s a 4″ Munny created for an employee at Kidrobot. I had been wanting to do a black and pink toy for a long time and I am stoked with how this one came out. Unfortunately I had to rush my pics at the eleventh hour on this one and they arnt the greatest I am afraid. Anyway I hope you guys dig it, let me know what you think.

Custom Boom

So I finished the first custom Keg O’ Boom over the weekend, for Twitter friend @kikmi. He wanted me to do an “Acid Flow” type vibe with Lambo Greens. Must say it was really great to drop some paint on a Keg and it suites customising fantastically if I do say so myself. Unfortunately I am crazy busy with stuff at the moment, so this solitary shitty pic will have to do for now. Will post some decent pics asap. Let me know what you think?

Hot Rod Paws

What an honour to get to custom as epic a piece as the Coarse Paws Raw and what a long way from my humble beginings on 3″ Dunny’s.Decided to go with simple yet bold on this piece with poping colours, but not without issue. Let me warn you, NEVER try and drop yellow onto a grey primer base, 20 coats, no jokes. But all in all great fun, so here it is “Hot Rod Paws”.
