David Choe hits up Denver
I have always had a fascination for David Choe, this guy must be the most passionate “Live your Art” artist I have ever bared witness to. There are very few artists who will bleed (literally) for their art. These new pieces from Choe on the streets of Denver (for the Terminal Kings project) feature his typical bright coloured, acid dropped, culture inspired brilliance.

Back to the Basics
So while it’s not that seldom that I have a paintbrush in hand, it has become pretty rare that you would find me dropping some pencil and ink. So this past weekend I decided to get back to basics and do some hand drawings. Kinda looking for something new again and I definitely think this has merit going forward. What do you guys think…? You can see the finished product after the hop. Oh and sorry for the pics, straight off my phone.

Choice Cuts
When the news on the Lustre Gloss Labbits from Kozik broke I must say I was pretty annoyed. In my opinion it was yet another money maker from Kidrobot, with about as much creativity or ingenuity as a brick. This new piece however landing on the 9th Feb ($80) actually tickles my fancy, its simple, yet clever and you can see that more than 5 minutes thought has gone into it.

These pieces are so in the spirit of Banksy I am begining to think maybe they know each other in some way…?

How it all Went Down
So over the last while you would have seen me mention the Toitoy X Puma custom show and I must say the event didnt disapoint. The turn out was great and the atmosphere even better, had fun meeting some of the other artists and was awesome to get lots of great feed back on my pieces. Check out my completed set below and you can see the rest after the hop.
